Roman building recorded here with excavations around 2004.
First noted by John Aubrey in 1686 who noted a mosaic pavement here.
The building was later excavated by the Duchess of Beaufort and Lord Albert Conyham around 1846 with finds including pottery and coins of the 'lower Empire'.
