Frocester

Frocester, site of roman villa.

The villa was excavated in 1959 and later in 1967 to reveal a winged corridor type villa with a hyposcaust and mosaic built in 270AD. Further excavations were carried out in 1976/77, 1978 and through the 1980s. flooring, a forge and a corn drier
