Durocobrivis

Durocobrivis is now called Dunstable.

Dunstable town centre was excavated by the Manshead Archaeological Society in the 1960s and 1970s during which they found remains for modst of the Roman period 50 to 350AD.

Durocobrivis was located at the crossroads of Roman Watling Street and the Icknield Way.

Significant features included a Roman cemetery and a 28m deep well.
