Durolitum is now Little London in Essex.
Much of the site has been destroyed by gravel extraction but was explored in the 18th and 19th centuries as well as being excavated in 1972 and 1981 and 1990.
Structural finds include a Roman bath house, hypocaust and timber lined well as well as tessellated pavement, urned cremations, a lead coffin, pots, a bronze figure and coins.
